Spending the first 18 years of my working life in the health and social care sectors, I enjoyed working with people where I could make a difference in a positive way. I loved my career, but something was always missing… although I don’t miss the endless meetings and budgets! Being very interested in the science behind the technology, laser tattoo removal is what originally brought me into the beauty industry, and permanent makeup was the perfect additional string to my bow. Not only do I get to remove unwanted permanent makeup, but I get to do the ‘re do’. I love the stories involved with tattoo removal; from exes and stag do fails, to just plain bad decisions. I love seeing the tattoos I remove just enough so that they can head off for a brand new masterpiece. Being the geek that I am, I hold a Level 6 Laser Qualification; combined with my knowledge of regulations and safe practices, you are in safe hands. From there my love for permanent makeup blossomed; from brows and lips to scalps - and more recently areolas, which hold a special place in my heart. My best moments in my working life so far have been because of permanent makeup. Giving a young lady with Alopecia her eyebrows back, a young man with a scarred head, the look of hair and a hairline. There is no job satisfaction like it; my passion led me to becoming a Qualified and Licensed PMU Artist, and has now grown into the extensive range of services I provide today.
